Jyrr is the goddess of soldiers and battle. She is not a god of tactics and wars, but instead holds domain over bloody melees, brutal trench fighting, and the true chaos of the front lines.
According to legend, Jyrr was once a simple conscript in a great peasant army that battled from one end of the world to the other. It is said that so many of her fellow soldiers looked to her for leadership and protection in the heat of combat, trusting her above both their mortal leaders and the gods themselves that when she finally did lose her life in combat she simply ascended directly to godhood.
This legend is supported somewhat by her appearance, that of a young woman dressed in simple, functional armor. Even her spear, which serves as her symbol, favored weapon, and badge of office, appears as an unadorned soldier's weapon of wood and iron.
